PIX&PAX
With the growth of online e-commerce and the desire to try food from around the world, the availability of popular snacks and brands from different countries has increased. While UK snacks are affordable, trying treats from places like America can sometimes feel like more of an investment.
That’s where Pix&Pax comes in. Two owners with a huge passion for candy decided to bridge the gap between experience and affordability. Their mission is to make international snacks accessible and affordable for those of us in the UK, offering “all things snacks.”

THE CHALLENGE
By meeting with the clients and establishing a clear process, we initially considered building the brand around American candy. However, after conducting research, it became evident that many of their competitors were taking the same approach. Since their product range extended beyond American sweets, we decided to explore a different direction to help the brand stand out, alongside developing a strong logo to tie it all together.
When it came to the visual style of the brand, it needed to captivate a target audience of 20-30 year olds as well as young families, striking a balance between fun and premium aesthetics that would build trust and excitement.

THE OUTCOME
The final logo was designed to be bold yet playful, using a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters. Given that it was a new company with limited brand recognition, we opted to use the full logo in both horizontal and stacked formats until customers became more familiar with the brand.
The four-tone colour palette, complemented by a warm grey, brought the brand to life with a fun yet premium aesthetic that set it apart from competitors, promoting a sense of trust. Additionally, the capsule highlights on the deliverables emphasized the phrase “Your snacks,” further defining the brand’s slogan, “All things snacks.”
