I'M MARTY
Design has always been my way of storytelling. I’ve always found joy in bringing ideas to life through colour, layout, and thoughtful details, whether it’s for a product on a shelf or a message in someone’s inbox.
After graduating with a degree in Visual Communication in 2020, I began my journey at Java Hub, a small coffee company based in Kent. As the only designer, I had the chance to experiment and grow across a variety of creative areas, including social media, campaign work, website elements and a monthly magazine. One of my proudest moments was leading the redesign of Java Hub's coffee packaging for their re-launch brand campaign, Wake Up to Colour, where I discovered a passion for packaging design.
Java Hub later became Collab Coffee, offering a white label coffee service to both local businesses and globally recognised brands. During this time, I had the opportunity to design for clients like Warner Bros, Disney and BBC, as well as a range of celebrities and influencers, by developing packaging concepts and proposals for coffee, chocolate and merchandise.

For the last three years, I worked at Utility Warehouse as a Graphic Designer. It was my first experience being part of a design team, and it gave me the space to learn, grow and collaborate with other creatives. My role covered a mix of print and digital work, including branded letters, leaflets, signage, presentations, illustrations, and email campaigns. During this time, I developed a strong interest in email design, helping evolve the style to better reflect the brand and support partner and customer engagement.
I continue to explore logo and brand design through freelance projects and always enjoy the chance to learn something new and bring ideas to life. If you have a project in mind, let’s have a chat.
