WIZARD POTION

Chocolate Wizard Potion was a merchandise concept developed for Warner Bros during my time at Collab Coffee. After thorough research, we identified an opportunity to bring the potions seen in the Harry Potter movies to life through flavoured chocolate bars. This idea would expand Warner Bros' merchandise offerings, providing fans with a fun, new way to experience the magic. 
 

Instead of focusing on drinks, whether flavoured or as coffee, we chose chocolate bars to ensure that fans of all ages could enjoy their favourite potions in a tasty and playful way.

The first step was identifying the key potions from the Harry Potter films and the colours they are most associated with. Based on this, I selected the most popular potions to determine how many chocolate bars we could offer. 
 
Color will play a crucial role in ensuring each bar stands out, while it’s equally essential to pair each colour with the corresponding flavour. Extensive research into flavour pairings would need to be conducted to identify the best combinations. The final design must capture the magic of the franchise by incorporating iconic elements from the films, ensuring an authentic look.

THE OUTCOME

The final product consisted of six chocolate bars, designed to work both as a set and individually. Each bar was distinguished by elements such as colour and potion. The flavours were selected through research and testing, analysing how other brands pair colour and flavour to identify the most recognizable combinations. 
 

The inspirational work of Miraphora Mina, who contributed to the films, played a key role in helping me capture the magic of the franchise, blending fun with nostalgia to create something that embodied the essence of the Harry Potter world.
